How long does it take to get started?

2-5 business days depending on the number of items your menu has and how quickly we are able to get everything we need from you. However, if you need to get up and running ASAP, we can certainly do that for you, just please let us know.

Do you setup our menu for us?

Yes we do.

Are there any limits to the amount of items, locations, or images I can use?

There are no limits to the amount of items or locations you can setup. There is, however, a 3 gigabyte file limit in regards to the media you upload. This limit can be lifted, however, if you've been with us a while.

Do you guys deliver our items for us?

We do not offer delivery services, however, we have implemented DoorDash Drive into our system which allows you to use DoorDash's drivers in the event you are not able to hire your own (we are working on implementing other services so you can have options).

What this means is that when orders are made through our system, we forward the very minimum amount of information to your chosen third party service, so they can deliver the order on your behalf.


Do I have to sign a contract?

There are no contacts. Akiracart is a pay-as-you-go service.

What is includedin the free version?

Everything found on the pricing page is included.

What happens if I cancel?

Nothing, really. There is a quick way to cancel included in the panel we provide you, your system will simply "lock up" should you choose to use it. If you change your mind, simply log back in to re-enable your system… It'll be like it never happened. 😉


What do you charge?

4% per order from sub-totals and service charges + a $400 setup fee (for a limited time only, our setup fee is waived for non-virtual businesses). We do not take our commission from sales tax, tips, or donations.

If you enable our feature to include our commission, and your payment processor's fee, as a "Processing Fee" to your customers… Our fee is essentially covered by your customers. In addition, if you offer cash as a payment option, we do not take any commission from a transaction where your customer pays with cash.

What does the setup fee cover?

Design, deployment, and configuration of your website. The fee also covers inserting your menu items & images, creating your locations, creating your pages, inserting the content for your pages (for example, a policy page), and software testing (for a limited time only, our setup fee is waived for non-virtual businesses).

How do I pay you?

We collect, what is known as, an application fee from your payment processor. What this means is, whenever a credit card transaction is performed through your website, we collect our fee automatically. This means you won't be receiving an invoice from us.

Do you cover my customer's refunds?

If a void is made through our system we will pitch in our fee in helping you cover it. Note: This feature is not available if you use PayPal as your payment processor.

How do I pay the setup fee after I sign up?

After you sign up using the form here, we will invoice you before beginning your project.


Do you host our website for us?

Yes we do. We are hosted on Microsoft Azure.

We have our own domain, can we use it with your system?

Yes! you most certainly can and we encourage you to do so… Just get with us about it and we'll set it up for you or assist you on how to do so.

If you do not have a domain, we can certainly park you on ours.

Can I have a white label experience using your system?

Yes, for an extra fee, you can have any mention of AkiraCart removed from your web app. Please mention this in our correspondence as we build your setup.

Can you house the emails our setup sends?

Currently, we are unable to host any emails on our servers. You'll have to use a third party service like Gmail Business where you can have email addresses that use your domain.

Do we keep our data?

Yes you do (excluding sensitive customer information). There are tools in the backend and an API you can use upon request.

Do you offer an API?

We offer a closed off API with documentation upon request.


What sort of support do you offer?

Technical support and standard SEO services. Should something happen or you need help with something else, please let us know promptly so that we can address it.

What if I would like to add more items or locations?

We can do that for you! Just let us know in an email or launch a support ticket within your panel.
